A reflector beam detector detecting smoke across spans up to 100 metres.

The AK-LB is designed for large high-ceilinged volumes such as atria, warehouses and sports halls where point detectors fall short. It detects smoke by measuring attenuation of the beam between transmitter and reflector.
Advantage
A single unit can cover up to 1,500 m² and maintenance needs access at only one point. It has automatic alignment and contamination compensation.
It is applied where ceiling height is up to 25 metres.
